We Tease, We Tease, We Tease

 

This is a little late in releasing, but it is happening! I wanted to release it last week and had to push it back. That was okay, I thought. I could do it Monday, which is when I was asked to help with costumes with our upcoming play at our community theatre (don't judge on the spelling of theater, it is how our local theater chooses to spell it). Any who, Monday came and went, postponed for a very good reason in my book, as my parents FINALLY moved closer! With that assistance was needed, and I was taught... Family is always first, not that I do not think of all of you as family! The plan is still the same, even though we are releasing this transcript today, a Tuesday! Tuesday being the day we drop or release our audio version, but I wanted to get this first one out to start the ball rolling, so to speak. So just know that we will be releasing the transcripts on Tuesdays and Thursdays up until we are all caught up on past episodes, then it will be just on Thursdays after we release the audio episodes.

Drum roll please, sir editor!!! oh, that doesn't work here... The long announced transcripts for We Tease, We Tease, We Tease. We recognize it is "just a teaser" but it was monumental for us! Not sure if you all picked up on the nerves, but as I reviewed the audio to "fix" the transcript, it made me chuckle. How quickly it feels to me, we have grown so much and have found a groove. (AJ) Are you ready to spill some tea?

 

(A.Rae) I am. I am drinking coffee, black rifle, coffee, and French vanilla creamer.

 

(AJ) I'm drinking the same because I'm exhausted today.

 

(A.Rae) Me too. I think our baseline should be at least tired and that gets us to that, right?

 

(AJ) Yes.

 

(AJ) But it's a good tired because I'm so excited. So excited to release this podcast.

 

(A.Rae) Me too!

 

(AJ) I am working so hard.

 

(A.Rae) Thrilled. I think it'll be great to have something out in the world where we're not talking about all of the negative and problematic.

I'm not putting down any sites that do that, but just A-Ray of Sunshine and creating a space for people to feel safe no matter who they are, what they believe, just live in life. I think that's important. How about you? What do you think?

(A.Rae) Oh, I like that!

 

(AJ) Yes!

 

(A.Rae) I can't do that for yours.

 

(AJ) No.

(AJ) Yes, I'm excited to do this and just talk about anything and everything.

(AJ) Yes.

 

(A.Rae) Enjoy everyone.

I like conversing with a lot of people and picking up their perspectives and it's kind of fun to sit with a person.

 

(AJ) Plus it's fun to talk to me.

 

(A.Rae) Oh yeah, absolutely!

(A.Rae) Might as well.

(AJ) I love her.

 

(A.Rae) I do too.

Everything that she's written is beautiful.

And I like how it's not the traditional poem where you have all the rules.

 

(AJ) Oh yeah.

 

(A.Rae) She breaks them and it's kind of fun to watch that and read that.

Anyways, it is the one about fall since we're in autumn here.

 

(AJ) Finally.

(AJ) Not for fall

 

(A.Rae) or just in general.

Celebrating seasons and whatnot?

 

(AJ) Well I should.

(AJ) You know what?

That's going to be my goal this week.

 

(A.Rae) Yeah.

 

(AJ) Next week I'm going to show up wearing a fall trinket.

 

(A.Rae) Do it.

 

(AJ) I don't even know what that means, but I'm going to find one.

 

(A.Rae) A trinket is like your little cutesy, artsy-fartsy kind of thing that you're bling.

 

(AJ) My fall bling.

 

(A.Rae) Yeah.

 

(AJ) I'm going to find one.

 

(A.Rae) I should wear my grandma's tiger ring.

Because it has the fall colors.

 

(AJ) I like it.

 

(A.Rae) I like the amber colors.

 

(AJ) Yeah.

Hey there you go! I need to find one.

 

(A.Rae) I need to put bling on my house too.

 

(AJ) I have, I did bling my house!

I changed the wreath on the door to be Halloween-y.

 

(A.Rae) Good job!

Yeah.

 I put my winter fall wreath on.

 

(AJ) That counts right?

 

(A.Rae) Yeah.

 

(AJ) I have a black ring.

Does that count?

 

(A.Rae) Yes.

It does. Put that on. Wear that.

 

(AJ) I just didn't put it on today, so that counts.

 

(A.Rae) Yeah, I like it.

 

(AJ) Because I like black colored trinkets.

 

(A.Rae) Black and silver is pretty.

I think that's really pretty.

 

(AJ) Black like my soul.

 

(A.Rae) You do not have a black soul!
